Overview

Bookmark Keep is designed to run locally in your browser sidebar and help you manage bookmarks quickly. We do not require browsing history access, page-content scraping, or third-party network APIs.

Data We Process

  • Bookmark data provided by the browser bookmarks API.
  • Extension settings such as theme, density, and view options.
  • Optional tag and rule configuration you create.

How Data Is Used

  • To render bookmark trees, search results, and filters.
  • To apply your sort, tag, and routing preferences.
  • To preserve your extension UI state between sessions.

Data Sharing

Bookmark Keep does not send your bookmark content to third-party analytics, advertising, or external processing APIs.

Data Storage

Data is stored through browser extension storage APIs on your device (and sync storage where enabled by your browser account settings).

  • Local processing: bookmark and settings data is processed on-device.
  • No third-party API calls: extension features do not require external APIs.
  • Optional tab permission: only needed if you use tab-related features.
